Hey Steve, thinking of you today and hoping your treatment is going well. Just wanted to say that I consider you a great leader and an inspiration in our field. It sucks that you’re in a tough place right now, but you’re doing the right thing in getting help. Im happy that you’re choosing to put in the work, it will pay off in the long run. Get well and I look forward to seeing you soon.

Thinking of you brother. Truthfully I had a strong urge to reach out last week to see how you were doing.

Dayne read me a message that said you are taking some time out to look after yourself. He also said a lot of amazing things about how you have been supporting him. It’s almost annoying how many times I hear how great you are! Only kidding of course. Obviously it’s pretty special to witness how you positively impact so many people. Now you’ve created some needed space to do the same for yourself.

This saying came to mind. I’m not sure if it resonates with you or not at the moment.

“Muddy water is cleared by leaving it alone” Allan Watts

If you have some free time you might find one of his talks interesting. They are on you tube. It’s past my bedtime now but know you are loved and supported. I’m just a message away anytime.

Just finished the banquet and tomorrow is the start of the education summit. I’ve been speaking to many people about self care to prevent the reaching of the critical phase.

I love you brother and am so proud of your commitment to yourself and your beautiful family. Keep chipping the puck out of your own end and before you know it, you will be creating odd man rushes!

There once was a Chief named Steve
Who was learning to Buddhist breathe
Peace in, and stress out
That’s what breathing is about
When he masters it he’ll find release.

Buddy, I figured a cheesy limerick would make you smile. Thinking of you, proud of you for doing this hard work. You got this! Love you man, Mark
